Golden Era Of The Malaysia Film Industry
Nobody can deny the talent
of the late Tan Sri P.Ramlee. He is the only one entertainer that can do all
type of art including singing, acting, comedy, directing, composing songs,
playing all type of music instruments, doing stunts, writing script and a lot
more.
There a lot of P.Ramlee
movie that are hit at that time and I sure that until now, if one’s watch the
movie, they are still laughing like hell even they already know the storyline.
I want to give review on
‘Pendekar Bujang Lapok’ which I consider as the best comedy movie that P.Ramlee
has directed. It’s cast by P.Ramlee himself with Aziz Satar and S. Samsudin.
They use their own persona in this movie as Ramlee, Ajis and Sudin.
The movie shows how this
three best friends in their journey to learn martial arts from a great master
called Pendekar Mustar. They first met the master at the jetty when they want
to take a boat to another place. Then chaos happen in which really funny. The
director really know how to tickle the audience by the dialog and the action
done.
Not to mention nearly entire
scene in this movie are using a spontaneous dialog and just use the script as a
reference. This is what makes the movie more hilarious. The technique use to
shot the movie, the storyline and the plot is really worth a standing ovation.
This is really a job well done and I rate this movie 9.5/10.
