Synopsis:
Emmet is an ordinary construction
worker who does not have any advantages compared to others around him. Emmet undergoes
daily life guided by 'Instruction Manuals' or guidelines (each set of LEGO
games always come with a handbook on how to build a set of game). Unlike 'Master
Builders', they will be able to build something without using 'Instruction
Manuals'.
According to the 'prediction'
made by a sorcerer named Vitruvius, a person whom 'the chosen one' will appear
and save the world from being destroyed by the Lord Business, who intend to use
the 'dangerous weapon' named Kragle on LEGO world they live. ‘The chosen one’ will
find a kind of antiquities (Piece of Resistance), which have ability to prevent
Kragle from destroying LEGO world.
Accidentally, Emmet had found a
piece of Resistance and became a 'hero' predicted by Vitruvius. With the help
of other 'Masterbuilders' like Wyldstyle, Batman, Uni-Kitty, Metal Beard, and
Benny, they work together to stop the Lord Business evil plans which was
assisted by Bad Cop / Good Cop.
Comment:
The storyline of The LEGO Movie
is interesting and suitable for family. This animated movie theme song titled
"Everything is Awesome !!!" was indeed very cheering and happy.
